Among emerging trust maps that the first 100 world citizen network in London debated, July's number 7/7/1 context was fortunately raised 2 days later by Gordon Brown at the UN. Who and where is people power uniting?
Gordon Brown UN 31 July 2007:
So it is time to call into action the eighth of the Millennium Goals so we can meet the first seven. Let us remember Millennium Development Goal eight – to call into being, beyond governments alone, a global partnership for development, and together harness the energy, the ideas and the talents of the private sector, consumers, NGOs and faith groups, and citizens everywhere. The sum of all the individual actions working together to achieve real change. Some people call it the mobilisation of soft power…I call it people power. People power in support of the leadership of developing countries.
Ongoing Survey for developing People Power Trust Map (7/7/1) sample target 1 - RealizingRights.Org Dear Mary B
Thank You
Perhaps you and Mary could answer the main question that the first 100 citizens who debated our guide last Sunday asked:
Given research shows that people like Taddy Blecher know how to identify missing empowerment and vocational curricula of youth in their localities - who is surveying the Taddy Blechers of this world and what is the media-freedom strategy for ensuring results from such survey are both broadcast and interacted with citizens?
We don’t want to reinvent the wheel. But absent of responses to this question we feel that all the talks about citizens should simultaneously stand up for rights empowerment and transparency that people like Mary, Gordon Brown and Peter Eigen cannot systemically fulfil millennial goals. World citizens want to relentlessly amplify the practical voices of the Taddy Blechers of our world by encouraging media to diffuse curiosity about missing peer to peer curricula everywhere.
Sincerely
Chris Macrae (us) 301 881 1655
