From espians

Right... another chat with the Tav... after I had to scrap the stuff I'd been doing for the last couple of days... which is ok, but I'd rather know what was going on elsewhere... eg with the 24weeks website.

After a day of moving around the stuff in the richmix room, in preparation of people visiting, I had to know some details about our "engagement procedure", ie how to invite people in and see what 24weeks is about, and perhaps for them to come up with some ideas/insight...

For some reason Tav showed me provisional interface that espra alpha 1 will be. Kind of cool, combining irc, chat, wiki, email, all in one... stuff about applications, filtered searches... Looked good, and I suspect I will make use of it. I am a non-tech bod, and I don't use the computer that much, so finding an easier interface is... ok. Still, if it makes my life easier, I am all for it. I can just about see the application of it... give me a couple of days and I will be raving about it to my friends I am sure...

Also, we talked about the actual day of the WTF 7.1, and it looks like Saturday. It has more of a festival feel to it, which means we don't want to exclude people who can't come in because of work commitments... The first one is more for consolidation... for it to start to make sense to people who have already heard of it... more or less :)

Fundraising starts on that day, in various way. Eg, they may contact people, vip's etc. Eg, buy shares... Also get market people/agencies in who might find espra interesting for clients... that's a funding avenue too...

My God, I am not so good at finding things... I can meet people, come up with some ideas, design systems even, but find things? No way. Looks like we need the skills of Mamading, and perhaps Sofia... who else...? Got to call people who have shown interest in 24weeks already... bring them in... hopefully they will be able to do it :)
