007's World Class Brands Update—year 18.

Branding went through a revolution circa 1990 which most ad agencies have found most inconvenient - so they pit sustainability at compound future risk by teaming up with untreu/unfair global accountants to compute brand valuation algorithms to hide the entreprenurial/network system revolutions that had happened; by year 2000 unseen welath research at brookings/georgetown banned them from contributing to future human relationships valuation.

The day Positioning Image over reality became altogether too costly to race with.

Before the ascension of globalization c.1990 every new product had a different brand in every country, and huge ad budgets were used to laych these; after 1990 what truthfully counted was flows across brand architure- different leagues of brand from products to corporate brand to partenhrship brand; the main brand trist competence became maps of information transparency - participant productions empowered by organisation-wide attention to priority Questions and Answers. That way a brand can be chartered, lived and learned. It can intrapreneurially make the most of peoples flow and actioning service/learning econony multipliers, rather than the least of epeople and the most of machines however supersized with chips.

At 24-branding we recursively practice the 2 simplest Q&A of chartering on the subsystem components of ESP meta-national, or whatever tav's meta-collaboration media launch architecture's named.

footnote why branding matters far more than we have time to think about - a special introduction for all who cooperate around building million people webs

A special intro for this group- in 2002 we first started questioning when would million person webs strike back ? http://www.valuetrue.com/home/glossary.cfm valuetrue was launched as that year's project emerging out of an annual retreat of brand professionals who hated their profession's mode of globalisation. another 2003 example was Beyond Branding http://www.beyond-branding.com/authors/macrae.htm

Our entrepreneurial revolutionary retreats into a quite lakeside chateau in sweden which people paid their own way to pilgrimage to and where all out hosts asked for was cost of food and drink as it interluded in intense 18 hour a day open space debates : we 90% agreed with naomi klein. what they agreed is that branding/media is the hugest power linking people worldwide; where they wanted to question the logic was:huge powers can be deployed to goodwill or badwill ends; we agree more and more global branding is compounding badwill or untruth consequences; what we want to debate is how this power can be connected to goodwill or whole truth ends. In those days, one way to change the world would be if the multi billion people that a broadcast global brand connects were also protected by million people interactive jury webs who pledged to boycott the brand if it became more irresponsible on its x-factor - the x-factor being related to what sustainability issue that brand's global market sector had most future consequence over. This transparency of questioning has since been led around the world by a global social entrepreneur network linked by Muhammad Yunus http://grameen.tv

so million people webs and media integration old and new, and how this conditions what we learn -let alone believe and puit all our faith love and hope in - are right now central stage as to whether the ext 5 years tipping points will sustain or eventually end all human futures- what an exciting time to be responsible for connecting the best of human relationship maps

You know the internet in every local to global linking potential is a media revolution that makes the invention of the printing press look small -that at least was:

the scenario of entrepreneur's future history of the net in 1984 assembled by the world's leading valuer of social entreprenurship at that time: http://www.normanmacrae.com/netfuture.html : it took 20 years before americans wrote a similar book (Friedman's world is flat which shows something about how many learning blocks top down commmand & control globalisation countries are value chained in; and suggests that we need every country in the world to ask what can we more humanly collaborate in if sustainabilioty's final tipping points are not to be breached). London like it or not has a lead rile to play both in reframing sustainability's 1% 20% investment foci and piloting the future safety of all open cross-cultural cities. That much was agreed by 40 people who met oct 2005 at the hub partly to commemorate the passing of our deepest social networker of empowerment of us all http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%2Bbbc+%2B%22colin+morley%22&btnG=Google+Search

it was also made clear by 1984 future history media and mediation system scenarios http://futurehistory.jp - as indeed gandhi, einstein , others had warned - that this system change was happening now to one 1984-2024 generation, simultaneously http://www.simpol.org to every society- would we integrate every local diversity equitably into global's maps http://socialmaps.blogspot.com or not?

JUDGE TOR YOURSELF WHICH COMMUNICATIONS & VALUATION PROFESSIONS STILL HAVE NOT TRANSFORMED WHOLE TRUTHS since 1984 the brand's death and life has been argued over every few years - nobody did this more socilaly than Naomi Klein http://www.nologo.org - her talk at the London School of Economics was probably the most empowering event since : the leaving of the coming of Sir Nick Stern - media truth's meltdown's have reached 1% 20% tipping points

The compound conseqeuneces of Media is and always has been a debate that London can do most to give back to the world

No media anywhere has more change the world potential to partner the human deepest possibilities of the internet - but will the BBC dare to fre eitslef of the yoke that sucessive politicianjs since Harold Wislo of all parties have burdened it with until in the name of balance it leaves out 99% of voices needed to explore the diversity of sustainabilty economics
