Chatzilla Howto

Chatzilla is a plugin for firefox/mozilla that allows you to connect to and communicate via IRC

Have you restarted firefox after installing Chatzilla?
In the tools menu of firefox you should now have a Chatzilla menu option.
If you click on it, you get a Chatzilla window.
If you are in Chatzilla, go to the Chatzilla menu and choose preferences.
So in Chatzilla preferences, there is the Identification section.
You should change the nickname at the very least to the one you want to use
That will save you from having to do /nick everytime you log on to irc.
Once you've done that, go to the Startup tab in the preferences panel.
Anyway in the auto-connect urls click the add button and add the following url: irc://irc.eu.freenode.net/esp
Then click OK, OK and quit Chatzilla.
Start Chatzilla again and all things being well you should auto connect to Freenode (and find yourself in the #esp channel)
