I'm the founder of United Diversity, the original "Symbiotic Engineer" (I coined it but tav uses it more than me these days), and I've known the visionary but idiotic tav too long to invest myself too much (see sbp's warning here).

Back when I still had insane belief in tav's (self described) insane belief, I helped to organise WTF 1 (NOTE: xnet was due to launch then too).

My collegues and friends from United Diversity also helped for the set-up of WTF 2.
